One condo. One address. One very good stretch of sand.
Carbon Beach is a narrow, closely held stretch of Malibu coastline. This is a top floor condo on it, with a private patio running the width of the living space and a daybed to take the afternoon on.
It is not a villa. It is a very good address, booked directly with the person who owns it.
Two bedrooms, one bathroom
Honest about the layout
A king in the primary, a queen in the second, and one bathroom, en-suite to the primary.
That last part matters. Guests in the second bedroom pass through the primary to reach it. Right for a couple, a small family, or friends relaxed about sharing. Wrong for two couples who would rather not, and we would rather say so now.

Carbon Beach runs east from Malibu Pier, a narrow strip with houses along its length and public access at either end. It is the reason this address is what it is.
Nobu is a short walk. So is the Pier. Beach access is a few steps from the building, and the condo comes with a garage space.

How many people does the condo sleep?
Four. There is a king bed in the primary bedroom and a queen in the second bedroom, which opens onto the great room through sliding doors.
How many bathrooms are there?
One. It is en-suite to the primary bedroom, so guests staying in the second bedroom pass through the primary to use it. The condo suits a couple, a small family, or friends who are relaxed about sharing. If that would not work for your group, we would rather tell you now.
Are the pool and hot tub private?
No. The heated pool and hot tub belong to the building and are shared with other residents and guests. The patio is private to the condo.
Is there air conditioning?
There is portable air conditioning in the primary bedroom and the living room, plus portable fans and heating. There is no central air conditioning.
How does check-in work?
Self check-in with a smart lock, so you can arrive on your own schedule without meeting anyone. Entry details are sent before you travel. The building has keyless entry and there is a lift to the fourth floor.
Is parking included?
Yes. One space in the garage on site is included. There is free street parking as well, and a paid garage off premises if you need a second space.
Are there security cameras on the property?
Yes, and we would rather flag it than have you spot it. There are exterior security cameras on the property, a Ring doorbell on the front door, and video at the building’s keyless entry. There are no cameras inside the condo.
Can I bring a pet, or smoke on the patio?
The condo is non-smoking throughout, including the patio, and pets are not allowed.
